At least two individuals should participate in the counting process, except in unusual circumstances that must be documented on the form.

Record all funds accurately, including cash, checks, money orders, and other applicable contributions. Document any designated allocations and explain discrepancies when applicable.

Do not use correction fluid or whiteout. Errors should be corrected with a single strike-through and initialed.

The individuals responsible for counting and verifying funds should complete the appropriate acknowledgment sections. Deposit information, custody arrangements, and supporting documentation should also be recorded.
